The Greene County Librarians hosted the 16th annual Toddler Fest on Saturday morning at the Greene County Community Center. An estimated 80 children attended, taking part in the many activities. It was the first “in-person” Toddler Fest in three years, as the Covid-19 pandemic forced the event to be cancelled in 2021. In 2022 it was a curbside event, with parents invited to pick up activities to take home to their children.
There were 12 different stations to visit with shopping at the grocery store one of the favorites. Children could go sailing, fish in a pond, and even take their ‘pets’ to a vet clinic. Each child received an early resource bag and a book from the Jefferson Rotary Club, and also enjoyed refreshments.
There was a sign up for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library and the 1,000 Books before Kindergarten program.
